Here is what's waiting for you:
BTS-Videos
An album celebrating the sound and vibe of an absolute dream synth deserves the highest audio quality, better than the typical streaming services. So you can download the whole album in Hi-Res 24 bit, 96 kHz quality. Completely free and for you to keep.
BTS-Videos
Join me inside GForce Software's dream synthesizer studio and be a fly on the wall when I try to tame this beast – tune its 16 oscillators, design sounds with its 8 individual modules, lay down the tracks or playing spontaneous improvisations.
Exclusive Stories
Every piece on the album has at least one story to explore. What inspired certain improvisations? How do emotional musical moments arise in a solitary studio situation? Let's get to a deeper level than current Instagram culture allows for.
Free OB-E sound pack
I've meticulously recreated all the Oberheim Eight Voice sounds of the album for GForces Software Emulation, OB-E. Get the whole soundpack for free!
I'm curious to hear what you come up with using these sounds. Share it with the community.
Free sheet music
I transcribed selected improvisations and you can have the sheet music for free!
Surprise Gifts
GForce Software is supporting this release and they've got an awesome surprise for you inside the trip! Don't miss out.

My new album KLANG | Oberheim Eight Voice, coming out November 11, is the beginning of a whole series of one-synth-albums, each focussing on the sound and soul of one particular instrument.

When I was invited by synthesizer legend and co-founder of GForce Software, Dave Spiers, to record at their synthesizer studio in England which holds a plathora of legendary historical keyboard instruments, it was clear which of all these gems I would choose to focus on and start this long dreamed of series.

Join the release trip and watch it all come together!

The Oberheim Eight Voice not only is an unobtainable rarity these days, but it is very special in its unique approach:

It is basically eight complete, individual synthesizers, put together in the attempt to create one of the first true polyphonic synthesizers in the 1970s, capable of not only playing one single voice, like most back in the day, but eight at the same time.

This particular one has been previously owned by Chick Corea and has been restored to work perfectly and look outstandingly beatiful.

Have a look over my shoulder while I try to tame this beast, tuning its 16 oscillators, designing and refining the sounds and recording the parts.

Watch the actual performances of the improvisations the gorgeous sound of this gem inspired me to play and that are part of the album. If you're a musician yourself, you can download my OB-E sound pack for free and share with the community what you come up with using these patches. If you're a joyful listener, be invited to witness how this unfolds.

This whole project is about sharing my love for these beautiful instruments with you and along the way, connect with fellow synth-lovers, listening or playing. Sharing knowledge, sharing sounds and music, sharing stories.

That is what hopefully makes it bigger than the recorded music on the album itself. So it is my absolute pleasure to invite you to become a part of this: Step inside, enjoy, engage.

See you on the other side!
